Kleyn has been associated with Agape Villages, Inc. since 1998 in various capacities, first as Vice President and chief financial officer and later as its President from 2005 to 2007. She also serves as a member of Agape's Board of Directors.

A celebration of that event is planned to be held in October.

Dennis Cree, Chairman of the Board of Agape Villages, Inc., has announced the resignation, effective May 4, 2008, of Richard M. Blythe as President of the organization. Blythe had been associated with Agape Villages and its predecessor, Sierra Children's Home, for nearly a quarter century, for most of that time as its President and chief executive officer. Blythe indicated he was resigning his position with Agape to pursue other interests involving serving terminally ill homeless children. He will also continue in his present position as pulpit minister of the Lake Merced Church of Christ in San Francisco.

Janet L. Kleyn, Vice President of Agape Villages, will assume the position of President and CEO pending selection of Blythe's replacement in that position. A search for his replacement has been initiated and is currently under way.
